Installing NT40E3 on RHEL8
Hi,
I am trying to install the this NT40E3 card on RHEL8. I followed the document and installed it via `./package_install_3gd.sh` script. However when I do
/opt/napatech3/bin/imgctrl -q it said
Scanning for Napatech adapters.. Adapter 0: PCI SLOT : 0000:01:00.0 PCI DEVICE ID : 0145 PCI LANES : x8 ADAPTER TYPE : NT40E3_4_PTP PCI Express Gen3 4x10Gb SFP+ platform RUNNING FPGA: FPGA IDENT : 200-9232-53-01-0000 DESCRIPTION : 4x10Gb, capture FPGA BANK0: PRODUCT CODE : 0 VERSION : 0.00 DOWNLOADED BY : INVALID BANK FPGA BANK1: PRODUCT CODE : 9232 VERSION : 53.01 DOWNLOADED BY : nt SUPPORTCHIP INFO: NT40E3_4_PTP : v3.2a FPGA IMAGE STATE: IMAGE STATE : NEUTRAL (code 0) PRIMARY BANK : 1 RUNNING BANK : 1I don’t know what to do now. I don’t know what INVALID BANK means.
I used ntanl_package_3gd-12.15.1.1-linux.tar.gz to install the driver. I basically want to test if the card is working and I want to test it via maybe loopback so that I can see whether I can capture packets or not.
