50G Ethernet GTY tuning parameters

Hi,

We are using  NT200A02 Napatech Link™ Programmable for developing Ethernet Traffic generator and analyzer starts from 1gbps to 100gbps.

50G is designed to support Firecode FEC(Clause-74), RS-FEC RS(544,514) and RS-FES RS(528,514).

The 50G design works as expected when we set any one of the above FEC are enabled, but without FEC we are getting occasional bad frames. Please shed some light on this?

The GTY tuning parameters has been set as per user guide as follows.

Pre-cursor -4

Post-cursor -12

Diff -swing -24

DFE – No

Insertion loss -20db

I suspect that we have to tune the GTY parameters to suppress the issue. Please can you provide GTY tuning parameters?
